I have been an Ubuntu user since 2007 now. When Ubuntu released version 11.04 Natty Narwhal, I've been distro hopping, because I'm not happy with the direction Ubuntu is going in.
Most of my fellow Ubuntu users have either migrated to Mint Linux or to Debian. I like Mint, but not enough to make it my new main Linux distribution.
I have tried Debian a few times before and I can't say that I was particularly impressed, or happy with it, it just came off as a more difficult version of Ubuntu.
I've been told by others who've made the switch that after two months I should know it inside out.
So, I've decided I'm going to chronicle my experience at using Debian exclusively for the next thirty days.
This will; hopefully teach me how to use Debian, and get me into the habit of maintaining a regular Blog where I can record various technical skills I've gathered in my travels.
